This Privacy Policy describes how the Company, operating under the brand “OjaFertility”, collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.

The platform enables users to input and store personal, health-related, and medical information, including but not limited to assessments, health metrics, medical history, prescriptions, and treatment-related data.

The Company aims to comply with applicable data protection laws and follows reasonable security practices for handling user data.

Such data may be processed and stored on secure servers, including cloud infrastructure provided by third-party service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), to enable platform functionalities, improve user experience, and generate insights. Data may be stored on servers located in India and/or other jurisdictions, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Where applicable, the Company takes reasonable steps to ensure that data is handled in accordance with applicable laws and security standards.

How We Use Data

The Company may use anonymized and aggregated data for research, analytics, and product improvement purposes. The Company does not sell personal data to third parties.

User Consent & Rights

Users retain ownership of their personal data, subject to applicable laws and platform usage requirements. You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing at any time. Upon withdrawal, OjaFertility will cease processing your information, though we may retain certain records as required by law or for historical medical record-keeping purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account and health data for as long as your account is open. AskOja conversations are deleted automatically twelve months after the last message in them. If you delete your account, it closes immediately and your data is erased 180 days later — the interval exists so an account deleted by mistake can be restored.

Some records survive erasure: your provider’s own clinical notes, which they are independently obliged to keep; backups and security logs, which expire on their own schedule; anonymous statistics that cannot identify you; and anything the law requires us to retain.

Data Security

The Company implements reasonable security practices and procedures to protect user data. However, no system is completely secure and the Company does not guarantee absolute security of data transmitted or stored.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, complaints regarding data privacy will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
